Assalaamu alaikum dear brothers and sisters,
We are now just a week away from Ramadan and see no sign of abatement of the pandemic to a safe level. Following the advice of our Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings be upon him) to stay away from an epidemic and our Governor’s Stay at Home order, we have taken the difficult decision to continue to close the Faith Unity Center until further notice.
All religious services, including Jummah prayers, events during Ramadan (including Taraweeh, Iftars, and Laylatul Qadr events) and Eid al-Fitr prayers, are canceled.
As we said before, this will be a very different Ramadan – something we have never experienced before and pray that we shall never ever have to see again.
- Please pray for yourselves, your families, and your community, especially for those who are afflicted with sickness, and ask Allah to let us all witness this upcoming month of Ramadan.
- Ask Allah to pardon us, guide us, and shower us with His mercy.
- Donate generously in the cause of Allah, for it is He who sends down a calamity and only He who has the power to revoke the calamity. It is through your donations that our Center operates, and we humbly ask you for your donations, especially in these difficult times. Because of social distancing requirements, donations made through PayPal and/or checks (instructions on website faith-unity.org) are accepted at this time.
